When all the components are assembled and the work area is prepared then the fun can begin.÷  The first step in the process is to heat the wax.÷  When wax is heated to the correct temperature its viscosity becomes similar to water and will just pour right into the container.÷  The one exception is gel wax.÷  It is a little different and you should just follow the manufacturer"s suggestions and all will be fine.÷  Candle wax should be heated in a double burner.÷  Now don"t think you must go out and spend a lot of money on a sophisticated device.÷  Two pots of varying size will do the job just fine.÷  Put water in the larger pot for heating and put the wax in the smaller pot which will be placed in the heated water of the larger pot.÷  Monitor the wax temperature and when it reaches the recommended level add your desired scents or colors and pour it into the prepared jar with a wick.÷  Just be careful with the hot wax and make sure you have a serviceable fire extinguisher handy..
